A proud Winston-Salem native, Denard McLendon brings over 30 years of experience as a dedicated tennis professional. Throughout his career, he has positively impacted players of all ages and skill levels, helping them grow both on and off the court.
Denard’s impressive resume includes directing tennis programs at premier institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Forsyth Country Day School, Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, and Frog Hollow Racquet Club.
These experiences inspired him to launch Triad Tennis LLC – a venture that encapsulates his lifelong commitment to the sport and to nurturing talent.

Tyler has been passionate about coaching tennis since 2007, helping players of all ages reach their full potential. Over the years, he has guided numerous high school athletes to team championships across four states and supported individuals in earning All-State honors.
Tyler’s expertise extends well beyond junior development. He has guided adult teams to local league titles and USTA State Championships, with players advancing to nationals on multiple occasions. Notably, athletes coached by Tyler have competed on three different teams that reached USTA Nationals—including a player from the squad that captured the 2023 USTA 4.0 40+ National Championship.
Tyler’s philosophy is simple: he loves working with anyone who wants to improve their game. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitor, his goal is to help you play your best.
